Yogi Adityanath to meet Bollywood filmmakers on December 2: Rahul Mitra

Mumbai Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (Yogi Adityanath) will meet a delegation of Bollywood filmmakers next week. At this meeting, they will discuss the future of the proposed Film City in the state. Actor Rahul Mitra gave this information on Sunday.

Mitra, who has produced films like ‘Saheb Bibi Aur Gangster (Saheb, Bibi Aur Gangster)’ and ‘Sarkar-3 (Sarkar-3)’, said that he too has been invited to a meeting on December 2. Notably, Yogi Adityanath announced the establishment of a film city in Noida, Uttar Pradesh in September and invited the film world to make a film here.

According to Mitra, the Uttar Pradesh chief minister will hold meetings with selected filmmakers, senior executives of the OTT streaming platform and heads of major film companies at the five-star hotel in Mumbai. He said the meeting would be attended by filmmakers Subhash Ghai, Bani Kapoor, Rajkumar Santoshi, Sudhir Mishra, Ramesh Sippy, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Madhur Bhandarkar, Bhushan Kumar, head of the T-series, Jayantil of Posha Studios and producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor. .

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on September 18, 2020 that the country needs a good film city in the current situation. The state is ready to take up this responsibility and a great Film City will be created. He said the region of Noida, Greater Noy Da and Jamuna Expressway would be better for Film City. The film will provide better alternatives to urban filmmakers, as well as be a very useful effort in job creation.

On November 8, 2020, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshab Prasad Maurya said that the state government was working efficiently on the proposed Film City and the state was going to get a bigger Film City than Mumbai.

Inaugurating the office of the chairman of the Film Development Council, Maurya said that with the formation of Film City in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, artists from the state would get employment opportunities. The present government is working relentlessly for the new proposed Film City. This office of the Film Development Council is going to give North Bengal a big Film City from Mumbai.

He said that with the formation of the office of the Film Development Council, artists will get all kinds of information and artists interested in films will have the opportunity to showcase their talents.
