Calcutta. Soumitra Chatterjee, a well-known Bengali film actor, has been admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata. After that, the doctors decided not to dialysis him for some time.

The hospital doctor said that the effect of stopping dialysis of the actor (85) will be evaluated and a decision will be taken after that. Chatterjee has been hospitalized since October 6. The doctors told reporters, “Their condition is stable compared to the last three days. We have decided not to do dialysis on Friday. We will take a decision on Saturday after evaluating their condition.”

Chatterjee began dialysis in two sessions on Wednesday, after which the quality of health improved. Chatterjee has been on a ventilator since last week. Doctors said Chatterjee opened his eyes in the morning but could not say anything.

He said Chatterjee’s neurological problems remained and that he would be treated as soon as all standards of health were cured. Chatterjee was admitted to the hospital on October 6 after contracting Kovid-19. He was later admitted to the hospital due to other health problems.
