The Telangana High Court has stayed the release of Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming film Jhuk. Now this image cannot be published in the country, abroad or on any digital platform. The petitioner is Hyderabad-based filmmaker Nandi Chinni Kumar, who claims to have the exclusive right to make a film about the life of footballer Akhilesh Paul. But in spite of that the animal was produced. The petitioner also alleged that Akhilesh Paul had cheated him.

Nandi’s complaint – Akhilesh withdraws

Nandi says Akhilesh told him that he made the rights only to make documentaries, not to make films. Nandi further said that the animal makers informed him by telephone that he had bought the rights to make his picture from Akhilesh. However, the producers did not share any written documents with him.

The coach-player story was therefore controversial
