Junior NTR in the role of Kamaram Bhim in SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.
‘Bahubali’ famous director SS Rajamouli’s next film RRR was controversial even before it was released. Freedom fighter Komaram questioned Vima’s re-presentation in the film, threatening Telangana BJP leader and Karimnagar MP Sanjay Rajamouli. Swamy Bapu, a BJP MP from Adilabad, also noticed the actor.
Controversy over Komaram’s Muslim dress and hat
Junior recently released the first look of NTR from the movie, who is playing the role of Kamaram Bhim. It showed him wearing kurta-pajamas and a Muslim hat. Telangana BJP has raised questions about freedom fighters and clothing.
Prisoner Sanjay Dubka mentioned the scene while addressing the public. He said, “Rajamouli is wearing this hat on his waist to create sensation. Shall we accept it? Never.” He also threatened to release the film.
We will not hesitate to burn theaters: Swamy
Adilabad MP Swam Bapu, like Sanjay, said in an interview, “It is wrong to show a tribal leader in surma, Muslim hat and kurta pajamas. Koramam fought against Bhim Nizam’s rule and sacrificed his life for the rights of tribals. If not, we will not hesitate to burn the theaters. “
Who was the tribal leader Kamaram Bhim
Kamaram Bhim was born on 22 October 1901. He fought against the Asaf Zahi dynasty to liberate Hyderabad. Koramam was 19 when his father died at the hands of Nizam officials to fight the tribals.
In October 1940, at Jodeghat in Asifabad, there was a three-day battle between the Bhim Army of Kamaram and the Nizam and the British Army. He died on October 27, 1940 at the age of 3940.
The Gond tribes still consider Kamaram Bhima as their idol. The Telangana government has named Asifabad district Kamaram Bhim district in his honor.
