Mumbai Actors Akshay Kumar, Randeep Huda, Urmila Matondkar and many more Bollywood celebrities on Thursday paid their respects to the security personnel and civilians who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on November 2, 2011 in Mumbai. Manzoor said these celebrities said the nation would always be grateful for the sacrifice of its soldiers.

The Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan-based terrorist organization, entered Mumbai by sea on November 26, 2008 and killed 166 people, including 18 security personnel. As many as 300 people were injured in what became known as the Cold War. Akshay Kumar tweeted, ‘People of Mumbai will never forget 26/11. My tribute to the martyrs and victims of the Mumbai terror attacks. We will always be grateful for the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers.

In response to a tweet from Mumbai Police, 4-year-old actress Marmila Matondkar shared a collage of pictures of the martyrs and wrote, ‘Tribute to the martyrs and victims of 26/11. I salute the strength and open heart of the people of Mumbai. We will always be with you for your departure and you will remain in our hearts.

Actor Ranveer Shore and actress Rabina Tandon also asked for prayers for the victims and martyrs that they will never forget their sacrifices. Actor Randeep Huda shared a video of the 26/11 attack bomb disposal squad that helped identify several bombs and RDX during the attack. Huda tweeted, ‘12 years have passed since the Mumbai attacks. The martyrs and the victims will always be in the memory. The terrorists targeted Taj Mahal Hotel, Oberoi Hotel, Leopold Cafe, Nariman (Chabad) House and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station.

The attack killed Hemant Karkare, head of the anti-terror squad, NSD commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Mumbai Additional Commissioner of Police Ashok Kamte, senior police inspector Vijay Salaskar and assistant sub-inspector Tukram Omble. Nine terrorists were killed in the security operation. The only terrorist caught alive was Ajmal Kasab, who was hanged on November 21, 2012.

The shooting of this film is going to start from November this year. This film will be the story of a dark girl from Haryana, who has got a lot because of her color.

In ‘Unjust and Profitable’, Ileana D’Cruz will be seen playing the role of Lovy and for the first time, actor Randeep Hooda will be seen trying his hand at comedy. Although the pair is very new in this film, writer Balwinder Singh Janjua is also setting foot in his direction with this film. Janjua has written pictures like ‘Sand Ki Aankh’ and ‘Mubarakkan’. The story of the film is written by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal and Anil Rohan. The music of the film will be composed by Amit Trivedi and the song is written by Irshad Kamil.
