Riya Chakraborty (left) has previously made several serious allegations against Sushant’s sisters.

  • Rhea said the case of illegal claim falls under the NDPS Act
  • The actress said the narrative belonged to the Delhi OPD, when Sushant was present in Mumbai that day.

Sushant’s sister Priyanka and Mitu Singh have reached the Bombay High Court seeking quashing of an FIR filed by Riya Chakraborty, a prisoner in Byculla jail, at Bandra police station. Before Riya’s arrest, Ram Manohar had filed a case against two doctors at Lohia Hospital, Tarun Kumar and Sushant. The three have been accused of giving fake medical prescriptions and drugs to Sushant.

Riya alleged in her complaint that Kumar Kumar gave her drugs for depression without investigation, which is a violation of law in various ways. Riya alleged that the statement was made by the Delhi OPD while Sushant was in Mumbai that day. Rhea said the case of illegal claim falls under the NDPS Act.

Riya said in her FIR that on the morning of June 8, when she was at Sushant’s house, Sushant was regularly chatting with someone on the phone. When he asked Sushant about it, Sushant showed him a phone chat with his sister, where his sister Priyanka sat in Delhi and advised Sushant to take psychotropic drugs. Tao also mentions a doctor who has never seen Sushant as a patient.

Sushant’s sisters argue in defense
In an application filed through advocate Madhav Thorat, Priyanka Singh claimed that the allegation was based entirely on prescription drugs, so she did not commit any crime. The rear case should be dismissed in the light of the Supreme Court decision.

The CBI had appealed to stop taking action
Advocate Madhav Thorat said Sushant’s sister had also demanded an interim order prohibiting the CBI from taking any action against him. Mumbai Police has registered the case and handed over the investigation to the CBI.
