Supreme Court grants Rs 10 lakh compensation to ex-BB contestant Swami Om

New Delhi: The country’s most controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 14’ has come under discussion again after the recent Marathi language controversy. Apart from this, another controversial ex-contestant of ‘Bigg Boss’ has also come out with a big news about her husband Om. The Supreme Court has given a new verdict on Swami Om. The decision carries a fine of Rs 10 lakh imposed on him in 2017.

The Supreme Court had asked the former Bigg Boss contestant to deposit Rs 5 lakh in six weeks. Om was fined Rs 10 lakh for applying in 2017. SC has reduced it today. He said the current CJI should not have the right to propose the name of the next CJI.

Let me remind you that in 2017, the Supreme Court imposed a fine of one million rupees on Swami Om, discussed on 24 August 2017 with Bigg Boss on a serious issue like privacy. In fact, Swami Om said in the petition that why the recommendation was taken from CJI while appointing Jajo in the High Court and Supreme Court? In this regard, when the case came before the bench of CJI Khehar and Justice DY Chandrachud, the court said that it was a publicity stunt. But husband Om said he has already gained a lot of publicity through ‘Bigg Boss’.
