Salman’s brother Sohail Khan has attracted the attention of Bollywood by buying a candy franchise in the Lanka Premier League. Sohail has selected West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle, Sri Lankan cricketer Kusal Perera, Kusal Mendis, Nuwan Pradeep and England right-arm fast bowler Liam Plunkett for the IPL-style LPL on November 21.

Sohail wants the team to play the final
Sohail said in his official statement that the Lanka Premier League has a lot of potential. And we are very happy to be a part of this amazing adventure. Sri Lankan fans are very passionate about this game. I know a lot of people will come out to support the team. Sohail continues – Chris Gayle is definitely the most amazing player in the world. But he is not alone. We have a very good team. There is a balance team of young and experienced players and I want my team to play in the finals.

Two Indian players will also take part in the tournament
Former Sri Lanka captain Hishan Tillakaratne is one of Kandy’s coaching staff. “We are very happy that cricket and celluloid have been associated with each other for a long time,” said Robin Vikramaratne, director of the tournament. The presence of stars will bring fun, entertainment and glamor. Last week, Indian players Manvinder Singh Bisala and Manpreet Gani were selected for the Colombo Kings franchise in the Players Draft.

Sri Lanka will have 23 matches in 15 days at two grounds
IPG CEO Anil Mohan said that we are committed to a world class league and what is better is that the message is being conveyed through Bollywood and Sohail. They say that Sohail’s love for cricket is different. Not only will she bring glamor, but her passion for the game is also different. We can no longer have better partners than them.

If we talk about the Lanka Premier League, it is going to be from November 21 to December 13. Candy and Hambantota have been chosen as the two venues for the game. The teams will play a total of 23 matches in 15 days.
