Pednecker said, ‘I don’t understand how I can convince my parents that I wanted to be an actress. Although my grandfather was a theater artist, my family did not like being an actress in Hindi films. He said, ‘I don’t think people have an idea of the beauty of this profession. I can’t blame my family. I come from a family of lawyers, engineers, doctors. It was a wonderful thing for him to act on me.
