Celebrities like Saif Ali Khan and Alia Bhatt attended Rajiv Kapoor’s prayer meeting in Mumbai on Friday.
A prayer meeting was held for the late Rajiv Kapoor in Mumbai on Friday evening. Kapoor’s family members including Neetu, Ranbir, Randhir, Babita, Karisma as well as selected celebrities like Saif Ali Khan, Bani Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were present at the private prayer meet. On this occasion Rajiv’s soul was worshiped for peace. Rajib, 58, died of a heart attack on Tuesday afternoon.

Neetu said that there would be no ceremony of the fourth
Rajiv Kapoor’s brother-in-law Neetu Kapoor recently wrote in a social media post that his brother-in-law will not have a fourth show. He wrote, “The fourth meeting of the late Rajiv Kapoor will not be held due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. May his soul rest in peace. The entire Raj Kapoor family is part of your grief.”
Rajiv was the younger brother of Ishi-Randhir
Rajiv was the youngest of three brothers (Randhir Kapoor, Kapoor Shi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor) and two sisters (and Tu Nanda and Rima Jain). His elder sister Itu Tu Nanda and middle brother Rishi Kapoor died in January and April last year respectively.

Rajiv could not get his comeback film ‘Tulsidas Jr.’ released. The film is set to release this year, through which he was ready to return to Bollywood after 30 years. This film is written and directed by Mridul. The film stars Sanjay Dutt and Dilip Tahil in important roles. Ashutosh Gowariker, the producer of the film, said that his team had recently gone to Rajiv to promote the film.
After Rajiv’s death, his co-star Dalip Tahil told Daily Bhaskar, “This will be his last film. He did a great job in it. People were good. He was sad to die. But I’m sorry, Lucky said when he left. “I urge the public to watch his film. Understand that this is Rajiv Kapoor’s latest gift to the public.”
