Amitabh Bachchan’s blockbuster movie Halal, released 36 years ago, is being remade. Producer Murad Khetani has bought the rights to the film from Kabir Singh. The story will end at the end of the year or early 2021. The biggest challenge in the remake of the film is to find a Big B’s counter actor.

Arjun Singh’s role as Namak Halal was inspired by Hurandi Bakshi in the 1968 Hollywood film The Party. Which was played by British actor Peter Sellers.

Casting will be done after the script is finished
According to Pinkvilla, Murad also agreed that he was going to remake Namak Halal. Murad says the film is loved by people of all ages and generations. We are working on the script. However, we did not go to any actor or director for this. This will work once the script is finalized.

The music-story-actor everything was strong
Big B’s classic film, Namak Halal, was released in 1982. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Parveen Bobby and Smita Patil in the lead roles. Unfortunately, these three artists who worked with Amitabh are no more in this world. Namak Halal was directed by Prakash Mehra and the music was directed by Bappi Lahiri, which is still very popular today.

Funny story about shooting
The funny incident related to the shooting of Halal called I Can Talk is related to the English scene. Amitabh made it a condition that director Prakash Mehra stay out of the house, otherwise he would not laugh and would not shoot.
Smita Patil locked herself in a room for 24 hours after the shooting of the song Rapat Jaan in the same film today. She was constantly crying because she didn’t want to dance and sing like any other commercial actress.
