New Delhi: Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna has recently dubbed the famous comedian Kapil Sharma’s show as obscene. The actor of the legendary serial ‘Mahabharat’ further said that he refused to be a guest on Kapil’s show as the content of the show was obscene and ambiguous. Khanna got a call from the show for a special episode of Mahabharata.
However, after Mukesh called him his co-star in ‘Mahabharata’, Gajendra Chauhan got angry with him. Responding to Khanna’s remarks, Kapil Sharma also told the Times of India, “My team and I are working hard to make people laugh at this moment of epidemic. When the whole world is going through a difficult time, it is very important to put a smile on people’s faces. It depends on the person you want to find happiness and what you lack. I have chosen happiness and I like to focus on my work and will continue to do so in the future.
Mukesh Khanna attacked again
Now Mukesh Khanna has again attacked Kapil Sharma and said in an interview to TOI, ‘It’s not about making people laugh, it’s about how to make people laugh. When I told people not to laugh! There is nothing better than putting a smile on people’s face these days. But people should use decency to laugh, which is not on Kapil’s show. There is stupidity and obscenity. This has been happening on their show long after the epidemic. I want to focus on the issue.
Mukesh Khanna played the role of Bhishma’s grandfather in the 90’s serial ‘Mahabharat’. His co-stars Nitish Bharadwaj, Puneet Ishar, Pradeep Kumar, Gajendra Chauhan, Goofy Pental and Arjun Firoz Khan recently appeared on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
