After Simba and Suryavanshi, Rohit Sethi and Ranbir Singh are coming together for a new project. Rohit is set to make a remake of the 1982 blockbuster film Angur, for which he has already finalized Ranbir Singh in place of Sanjeev Kumar. After this, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde have also confirmed that Ranbir will have a romance in the film.

Rohit wanted to take Shah Rukh before Ranbir

According to a recent Filmfare report, director Rohit Sethi is working to modernize the film’s screenplay. In 1982, Gulzar directed the film where Sanjeev Kumar played a dual role. Rohit has been preparing to remake the film for several years. Earlier in 2015, Rohit wanted to make this film with Shah Rukh Khan, but the word could not be made at that time. Shah Rukh and Rohit came together in the film Dilwale after the grape was suspended.

Rohit Sethi, who has done a series of films, was busy with films after Golmaal, Simba and Suryavanshi. During the lockdown, the director had a long time to work on the script, after which he also finalized the character in the film Grape. This is the first time Ranbir, the most energetic actor in the industry, will be seen playing two characters at the same time and will make the audience laugh with confusion.

Earlier, Rohit Sethi had achieved great success in making the audience laugh by adapting Golmaal film with Ball Bachchan. In this film, Abhishek Bachchan made a drama of being a twin.
