- On World Mental Health Day, Ira Khan expressed her frustration
- Amir’s daughter wrote in the caption of the video – Let’s start a conversation
Ira Khan, daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife Rina Dutt, had been suffering from clinical depression for four years. This revelation was made by Ira herself through social media. He shared a video on the occasion of World Mental Health Day on Saturday and made his statement in front of everyone.
‘I’ve been depressed for four years’
In the video, Ira says- Alas! I’m depressed. I have been depressed for four years. I went to the doctor. I’m clinically frustrated but I feel better now and for the past year I’ve been wanting to do something about mental health. But I do not know what to do?
So I decided to take you on my journey. Hopefully we’ll get to know ourselves a little better. Understand mental health better. Let’s start from where we started? Am I frustrated about what? Who am I disappointed with? I have everything, don’t I?
‘Let’s start a conversation’
In the caption of the video, Ira writes: What’s going on? A lot of people are saying a lot? Things are really confusing and stressful and simple and okay, but not okay. Life is with everyone
There is no way to say it all. But I think I’ve found something or at least understood how it makes a bit more sense. About mental health and mentally ill health. So come with me on this journey, my weird, excited, sometimes child-like voice. Honestly let’s start the conversation as best I can.
Ira made her theatrical debut
