The report claimed that the CBI was adding the murder clause to the case by making Siddharth Pithani and Cook Neeraj, Sushant’s flat-partners, official witnesses.

  • Some news channels are running regularly that CBI has added section 302 in the case.
  • The CBI officer clearly told us in the conversation – don’t stop there

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has refused to add Section 302 (murder) to the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. In an exclusive interview with Daily Vaskar, the CBI official said that he did not add this section against Riya Chakraborty or anyone else. Excerpts from a conversation with a CBI official: –

Question: Is section 302 actually added?
CBI: This is completely wrong.

Question: But is this news running on arbitrary channels?
CBI: What can we do now? The investigation is still ongoing.

Question: From the evidence you have received so far, can you expect 302 to apply?
CBI: See what the future holds? How to say. We are investigating a case. Ves does not solve any puzzle based on imagination

Question: That is, so far no neutral evidence has been found, leading to the application of 302?
CBI: I would say don’t fall into the circle of 302 right now. The investigation is still ongoing. We cannot share with the media or anyone else the evidence that is coming to light at this time.

Question: When and who is going to ask questions?
CBI: I would like to say again that no matter what happens during the investigation, we do not share.

Question: What will be the next hearing from the accused?
CBI: Let’s see. It depends on the investigation.

Question: Let’s go next week?
CBI: This cannot be said right now. Our work is not based on imagination. We don’t say this thing.
