After the marriage, Sushila changed her name to Salma and her eldest son Salman Khan was born on December 27, 1965. Salim and Salma have four children Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail and Alvira. In 1981, Selim Khan married actress Helen and later adopted a young daughter, whom he named Arpita.
