New Delhi: ‘Mirzapur’ Viewers were eagerly awaiting the second season. Enthusiasm among people is still intact despite the mixed response to the series since its release. In addition to the actors giving life to the characters in the story, it has also been given a new twist. In an exclusive interview with the media, some of the people associated with the film crew shared their experiences.
The character of Gajgamini Gupta alias Golu is quite popular in the series. Actress Shweta Tripathi, who has been asked about her character change, said, ‘Sometimes we reach a stage in our lives where we have to choose one thing or the other. So Golu also had a choice, he was to take revenge, if he did not take revenge, the rest of his family would also be killed. Although Golu is not happy with the gun, he had to do all this to keep himself alive. I feel bad for Golu this season, because his focus is only on revenge and no one understands his position.
When Pune Krishna, the author of the story of the series, was asked about its success, he described it as ‘double’ as expected. “During the process of writing the story in a closed room or in its production, there was absolutely no idea that it would prove to be such a big hit,” he said.
About how he maintained the continuity of the characters in the second season, the author said, “When writing the characters in the second season, we just kept an eye on the story so that there is no sense of bias and the story is on its right path. I have tried my best not to write.
Talking about his experience during the shooting, Gurmeet Singh, the director of the series, said, While working it felt like friends were meeting each other after a long summer break. We had a lot of fun on set.
