Farah writes in an open letter to women:
“Our actions speak louder than our words. They are more important. We have the option to take every step we have to choose. How to make those choices work out. It makes us different people. I had to choose too and that’s why I became a choreographer, filmmaker and producer. Everybody listened to the voice inside and made the right choice whether it was for my family or my career. Life and it is our decision what we are doing.
Today I am proud to say that I am the mother of three children because my decision to become a mother was mine, it was my choice. I became a mother only when I was ready to be a mother, when society does not determine that it should be a mother. Today science has advanced so much that even at this age I became a mother because of IVF. It is so beautiful to see today that many women are making these decisions thinking about what people will say, changing people’s attitudes and becoming responsible for their happiness. “
“Recently I came to know about the ‘Story 9 Mantra Ki’ show which gives a truthful response. If marriage can be without love, why can’t there be a mother without a husband?”
Farah writes in her post that when I hear about this kind of show as a filmmaker, I feel happy that women are being liked and their happiness is being taken care of.
