Mumbai The Bombay High Court on Wednesday asked a lawyer to provide a copy of the petition to the Maharashtra government, where the court oversaw the death of Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-manager Disha Saliya. The CBI has been requested to conduct an investigation. The petition was filed by Advocate Puneet Dhandar and claimed that the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian were linked under suspicious circumstances.

When the petitioner came for hearing on Wednesday, the petitioner’s lawyer Bhanit Dhanda told a bench of Justice KK Tated and Justice GS Kulkarni that Salian died on June 7 and Rajput on June 14.

Bhanit Dhanda argued, ‘Mumbai police did not do their job and did not properly investigate the deaths. The deaths of the two started a lot of noise in the country. The public prosecutor told the bench that the state government had not been given a copy of the application.

On top of that, Dhanda claims that he has already given the copy but will give it again. The bench said, “You (the applicant) should submit an affidavit of oath of service and they (the government) should give one more copy.” The case was then scheduled for the next hearing on November 26. Petitioner Puneet Dhanda first went to the Supreme Court but the apex court refused to hear the appeal and asked him to go to the High Court. Salian, 26, died on June 8, 2020, after falling from a 14-storey residential building in Malad. Rajput, 34, was found dead in his flat in Bandra on June 14.
