NCB Sushant Singh Rajput, who is investigating the angle of drugs, has been accused in the death case. Sushant’s home help Dipesh Sawant has accused the Bureau of Investigation of illegally detaining him in the High Court. Not only that, Deepesh has also demanded Rs 10 lakh compensation from the Indian government.
In the application, Sawant’s lawyer Rajendra Rathore said that the Bureau of Narcotics Control had completely violated Articles 21 and 22 of the Indian Constitution.
I got bail two weeks ago
Deepesh Sawant was arrested under NDPS Act 20 (b) (i) (a), 23, 29 and 30. But then, two weeks ago in October, Deepesh was granted bail along with Riya Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. Dipesh alleges in the application that the NCB arrested him on September 30 at 8 pm on his record. He was arrested at 10 pm on September 4.

Violation has been mentioned in the application
Dipesh’s plea states that he was produced in court on September 2 at around 1.30 pm. The NCB later kept it in custody till September 9. That is, he was produced before a magistrate 36 hours later. Which violated the guidelines of the Apex Court and Article 22 of the Constitution, stating that the arrested person must appear before a court magistrate within 24 hours.

At the end of the application, the court demanded Rs 10 lakh compensation from the Indian government to Deepesh Sawant.
