New Delhi Youngest son of Raj Kapoor Rajiv Kapoor Died Tuesday due to an art attack. He was last seen in the movie ‘Responsible’ released in 1990. He was preparing to return to Bollywood after 31 years. But something else of destiny was allowed. He was making a film called ‘Tulsidas Jr.’, where he chose actor Sanjay Dutt as the lead actor. Actress Ashwini Bhav has mourned his death.

Very few people know that Rajiv was the producer of ‘Henna’. The lead actress of this film Ashwini Bhave was quite surprised by his sudden demise. He said that the late Rajiv Kapoor was a man of compassionate nature. In an exclusive interview with Itimes, the actress said, ‘I am very sorry to know that Rajiv is no more in this world. He was a talented actor and director. But above all, he was a merciful man and holy spirit. My heart aches that Kapoor’s family has lost so many people close to him in such a short time. I extend my deepest condolences to the RK family. May his soul rest in peace.

Rajiv Kapoor made his acting debut in the film ‘Ram Teri Ganga Miley’. He was very controversial then. He also acted in films like ‘Jaljala’, ‘Hum To Chale Pardeshe’, ‘Thank You’ and ‘Lava’. He started his career in Bollywood with the film ‘Ek Jaan Hai Hum’ released in 1983. In all these films of Rajiv Kapoor only one film ‘Ram Teri Ganga Miley’ was able to run at the box office.

The late actor was cremated on Tuesday (February 9) in Mumbai’s Chambur. Many Bollywood celebrities attended his janaza. About 24 people including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, sister Rima Jain and brother Randhir Kapoor were present. People in the film world are deeply saddened by Rajiv’s death. After the deaths of Ishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and sister Rima Jain are now the third generation members of the Kapoor family. The family lost two of its members last year.
